Framework – How We Hold Our Beliefs

The leadership at Hope Chapel has been working on a better way to communicate clearly how we hold our beliefs as a church body.  This new framework uses three Cs” (for Core, Commitments, and Convictions) and it clarifies which beliefs we hold strongly, which beliefs we don’t, and why it’s important biblically that those categories exist. We hope the construct will guide us through various challenges – like how we are to interact with one another in the midst of our differences, how we decide which current issues to officially take positions on as a church, and which doctrinal standards we have for various levels of leadership at our church.  We will offer two opportunities to come and engage around this framework: Wednesday November 16th from 6-8pm and Sunday, November 20th from 5-7pm (in lieu of community group that night, with childcare provided).
